Two hit-men awaiting their latest assignment discuss tea, football and news articles as mysterious and seemingly random notes are delivered to our characters through the titular dumb waiter. Who is sending the notes? And what does this latest job hold in store for Ben and Gus?

Over more than 15 years John Wright established a reputation on the European acoustic music scene as one of the best interpreters of contemporary folk song. Following his untimely death earlier this year, the band members offer a tribute to "the song-writers singer".

Karmic Revolution - Ian Porter
Pulse, a multi-media event featuring three live acts (Araya, Plum and Alpha Channel) and a headset disco. Araya’s beautiful melodies combine dark electronic drum rythms and occasional acid bass lines. Plum (Shona Maguire) has been described as a cross between music and magic. Alpha Channel creates live graphics.

An exhibition of prints, paintings and photographs to celebrate the diverse talents of volunteers and staff of the Eastgate Theatre. Exhibitors include Myrtle Ashmole, Mags Mills, Peter Norris, Peachey (surname?), Jo Powell, Ian Porter and Andrew Young. Open Evening Tuesday 3rd June 7pm to 8.30pm Everyone welcome to the Open Evening and Craft Fair.

Together Ewan and Sandy play a mixture of Scottish, Irish and English traditional songs and tunes, together with contemporary folk songs, and original compositions. "As well as originals they play exquisitely through centuries-old songs, all of which are liable to be hummed on the way home.

Forget Monte Carlo, for one night only the casino travels to Peebles courtesy of the Peebles Rotary Club. They invite you to “put on the ritz” for an evening of glitz.
